Computed Tomography

& nbsp;

Technological advances in radiology have resulted in the circulation of multislice CT scans, capable of examining the entire human body in a matter of seconds. In addition, the use of advanced software allows examinations such as CT angiography, CT urography, 3D imaging of bones and joints and dynamic study of areas or organs (two- or three-phase CT). The dose of radiation received by the examinee is significantly lower than in older CT scanners.

Our diagnostic center has a new CT scanner of 16 sections and the examinations that are performed, in addition to the classic CT scans of all areas of the human body, are:

  • Two- or three-phase CT
  • Dental CT for dental implants
  • 3D imaging, imaging in frontal (coronal) and sagittal plane
  • CT arteriography of the thoracic aorta, abdominal aorta, renal arteries and iliac arteries
  • CT urography
